It's only 10 am on a hectic day and your energy cells are already drained. What is the first thing that comes to mind? Most likely a double espresso.

After making today's recipe, you’ll likely forget about coffee for a while. I’m living proof. Not only does this smoothie pack a nutritional boost, but lasting energy without the peak & crash that inevitably comes every time you gulp down your americano.

Don’t worry, you won’t need ingredients you can’t pronounce or find at a supermarket either. It’s yummy and you're going to love the way it makes you feel. So let’s get down to business.

How To Make Delicious Mango Smoothie with Spinach To Feel Good (Energized):

Ingredients:

-Mango
-Pineapple
-Banana
-Spinach
-Blueberry
-Matcha
-Cocoa

Why these ingredients?

With spinach smoothies, the trick is to incorporate more naturally sweat fruits into the mix, to offset the taste of raw spinach. Rest assured, you won’t be able to tell that there is spinach in your smoothie, while you still reap all the nutritional benefits it brings!

The real kicker here (the reason you’ll abandon your espresso maker or nearby coffee machine) is its caffeine content that comes from matcha. But wait a minute what is matcha?

Matcha is powdered green tea where they grind the tea leaves into a fine powder that dissolves in your drink. On the contrary, when you order regular green tea the leaves are infused into hot water then the filter is thrown away.

More and more avid coffee drinkers (including me) make the switch to matcha to kickstart their days, rightfully so. As opposed to coffee, it gives you a calmer, more lasting alertness. I personally only drink a pack of Smoothie-N-Go Flow if I feel like my energy is depleted, and with its 46mg of caffeine content, it almost has the same amount of caffeine as a regular espresso.

What about dosing?

When it comes to the fruit content of this smoothie, a general rule of thumb is to experiment and adjust as you go. As far as spinach, I’d recommend using half a cup.
When it comes to matcha, 1 tablespoon will be enough to get you amped for the rest of the day.

The verdict:

This simple smoothie with spinach makes it such a breeze to sneak greens into your smoothies, even if you’re not a big fan. However, even if the outcome is delicious, you still have to shop all your ingredients, peel and chop them up, have access to a blender and clean up the mess afterward.

We found this process rather cumbersome every day, so we created Smoothie-N-Go, a 100% natural, blender-free smoothie powder, that lets you enjoy a delicious smoothie in about 30 seconds of work (and anywhere). We have the same smoothie I described above and other fruity flavors, with ingredients you can pronounce.
